Love Learning

I happened to stumble upon my field of study. Ethnology is the branch of anthropology that compares and analyzes the characteristics of different people and the relationship between them. Understanding people and culture, with the underlying schemes and beliefs is totally fascinating for me. Since getting my Masters Degree learning has continued, curiosity will follow me wherever I go.

Creativity and Passion

Recruiting and headhunting people is an amazing way to help both the company and individual grow. By now, I must have interviewed thousands of people with various backgrounds and experiences. I must say that it is always a journey to get to understand a person and there is a great deal of nuances to be taken into consideration for landing that win-win outcome of a recruitment. I have also seen the results from both the individual and company perspective when that job, once feeling great, no longer fulfills the expectation of the employee. Helping laid off people find that new path in life is a very personal but fruitful situation.

Building trust with my customers, also in sales situations, is of utter importance. Discussions with company CEOs and HR have given me an insight in various company cultures, their challenges and solutions. I have had the privilege to help tens, if not hundreds, of companies. By training Managers and Leaders in understanding behavior and how that is applicable in team building, trust building, motivation, leadership and so on, we can make organizations grow. When we feel stuck in old routines or we feel the lack of motivation there can always be growth, and I´m happy that this is where my skills are needed and used.

You can learn more about my why by checking out this page. That is; why I´m here, why I´m writing to you and why I feel I need to share all this with you. Also check out the blog and be sure not to miss my weekly tips about how to work your mind!

Personal

Passion

With the greatest passion for learning and understanding, I seem to have the innate need to question almost everything. One of my major fields of interest has, for as long as I can remember, been the human being. Both the individual and groups of people. I love to learn and understand how we function socially, culturally and in a kind of spiritual way, how we see ourselves.

Another huge passion of mine is creativity, in a broader sense. I love being visually creative as well as handcrafting. Using creativity in the business surrounding, by combining all the information and knowledge I have gained during the years, is giving me the greatest of motivation.

business

As I had my first child, I felt an urge to create something. This lead me to build my company. My main idea was to sell children´s designer clothes with a twist. The customer was able to choose the fabric and make some small changes to the end product.

Working with my business for almost ten years (partly on my spare time) I was learning a lot about sales, marketing, building a web page, retail and sourcing, among others.

Learning by doing (and by making mistakes) is the best way to comprehend. No knowledge or experience is in vain, there will always be a point in life where it will come in handy.

beliefs

All the content on this page is written by me, with the intention to share my thoughts with you.

We can live our lives in so many various ways and we can think whatever and however we choose to, as long as it serves us. No other person should tell us how to live our lives.

I hope my thoughts resonate with you, and that they will help you grow and push your limits to become something amazing!

What you believe is ok, stick to that, no need to explain yourself or ask for permission.

Thoughts about
My Why

Some of the reasons why we meet here

Can I edit the files ?

With age, I must say, the amount of my personal navel-gazing has decreased (severely) and helping others has become more important. I have decided to be nothing but myself and share what I have learned, with you. It´s easy to let the strengths show, but the weaknesses… not that easy.

I have this strong belief, that everyone can mold their own reality and I´m sure you can do whatever you focus on. It would be amazing to push you even one inch towards your goals.

Taking care of ourselves and our bodies, eating well, exercising, sleeping and spending money on our looks… All this is great but what if you paid more attention to the mind and soul? For some strange reason we feel more justified focusing on all that other stuff. What I have found working with companies and individuals in them, is that working the mind is extremely powerful.

We can change ourselves more than we can imagine and sometimes we only need that one soul who believes in us or feels the same way we do. I hope I can be that person for you.

Simply, to learn and just for the fun of it! Because anything is possible when you put your mind to it.

Finally, I have to say, some of you will find other paths to be more suitable for development, we are all wired differently. The ones of you who get me, will feel the connection and hopefully gain a lot by following my blog.

Since life is not always a walk on the beach, working your mind is the best way to tackle situations. There is a time for happiness and joy but also a time for sadness or anger… What we make out of those feelings, how we let them follow us and for how long we dwell in them, is the essence of working your mind. I have had my fare share of situations in life, situations that have made me grow as a person and appreciate the good times. Just to name a few are things like being broke, growing up with a sick parent and the insecurity of that, being bullied at work set me on a spiral to depression/burnout and made me really appreciate my normal motivated me, being laid off and having to rebuild my career, getting a divorce and having to restart. Yes, you will hit roadblocks and you can not control everything in life but you can work your mind and decide how you will approach the situations.

The mind is everything,

what you think is what you become
